L-Carnitine is an amino acid found in high concentrations in human heart and liver tissue, where it participates in metabolizing fatty acids into energy by the mitochondria. Coenzyme Q-10 is an important antioxidant found in high concentration in human heart and liver tissue, particularly in the inner mitochondrial membrane where cell energy is produced. Pantothenic Acid (Vitamin B-5) participates in the production of energy by the mitochondria. Lecithin facilitates the absorption of Co-Q10 and carnitine.
Jarrow Formulas Co-Q10 is derived from fermentation and consists only of the natural trans configuration, the same as synthesized by humans. Jarrow Formulas supports clinical research on Coenzyme Q-10.
