I went to the doctor last night and they checked my iron levels which were extremely low. I have been taking 600 mg. ibuprofen for chronic lower back pain for several months. I am now being tested for blood in my stool which my doctor said could be caused by taking ibuprofen on a regular basis. I would get my iron checked if I were you and also see if there is an alternative Nsaid that you can take. But I am not a doctor just passing along what my experience is.
