Can I order Avemar overseas to save money?
We have had a couple of clients ask us if they can order Avemar from overseas to save money.
While we trust that the product is authentic, we suggest that you carefully question whether it will be safely shipped to you to retain its potency. Avemar should not be exposed to temperatures exceeding 80 degrees Fahrenheit to retain its potency.
The shipping cost as quoted by FedEx, the post office, and UPS for 2-4 day delivery from Europe is $70 to $80 for a 1-month supply that is properly packaged with cold packs. If you think the European company will be spending this money for shipping to you, and the shipper will speed your package through customs so that it arrives closer to 2 days than 4, and won't hold the package on Saturday and Sunday (which do not count in the estimated shipment time), then you are probably OK.
