Topical Hyaluronic Acid Beneficial for Skin Healing

In a study published by Chinese scientists, 48 rats were evaluated for the effects of hyaluronic acid on wound healing. The results indicated that topical hyaluronic acid could have powerful infiltrating activity at the early stage of wound healing. HA could accelerate the healing of epidermis and delay the formation of keratinization layer (scar tissue).
